Individual Sessions

Maybe you’re the person who holds everything together. Maybe you understand why you feel the way you do, but understanding it hasn’t actually changed it. Or maybe you just know something feels off. You’re overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in the same patterns, or wondering when life started feeling so heavy.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, disordered eating, relationship patterns, and struggles with identity and self-worth.

My approach to individual therapy is warm, curious, and deeply relational. Rather than only focusing on symptoms, we’ll get underneath them. Together, we’ll explore the patterns, relationships, experiences, and protective parts that have shaped how you move through the world. We’ll make sense of what’s happening now while also paying attention to where it may have begun.

My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Bowen Family Systems Theory, along with other evidence-based and systemic approaches. This means therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. We’ll pay attention to your emotions, relationships, family experiences, attachment patterns, and inner world while tailoring our work to what you actually need.

Some sessions may involve making connections you’ve never noticed before. Others might mean learning practical tools, sitting with something difficult, laughing at the absurdity of being a person, or finally saying the thing you’ve never said out loud.

My hope is that our work helps you understand yourself more deeply, soften the patterns that no longer serve you, and build a life that feels more connected, grounded, and genuinely yours.

Most couples don’t come to therapy because they’ve stopped caring about each other. More often, they’ve gotten stuck in patterns they don’t know how to get out of.

Maybe every disagreement turns into the same argument. One of you wants to talk while the other needs space. Small things become big things, communication feels harder than it used to, or you’ve started feeling more like roommates than partners. Sometimes there isn’t one obvious problem at all, you just know the relationship doesn’t feel the way you want it to anymore.

I work with couples experiencing communication difficulties, recurring conflict, emotional distance, intimacy and sexual concerns, trust issues, major life transitions, and Infidelity. Couples therapy can also be a space for partners who are doing well but want to better understand each other and strengthen their relationship.

My approach is attachment-focused, systemic, and evidence-based, drawing primarily from Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Bowen Family Systems Theory. Rather than spending our sessions figuring out who is right or wrong, we’ll pay attention to what happens between you, especially the patterns that keep turning conversations into conflict, distance, or disconnection.

We’ll work toward communicating more clearly, understanding what each of you needs from the relationship, navigating conflict differently, and creating more room for closeness and connection.
